Buy One Christmas Tree,

Then Plant Three Trees!

During Christmas time, at least thirty-two million trees are cut down for Christmas trees. These trees are then thrown out after a few weeks when the season is over.

For every tree that’s cut down, we need to plant that many times three. So, for every tree that’s cut down, we would need to plant three more to take it’s place on earth.

If you buy a cut Christmas tree, you can donate $5, $10 or $15 to the Children‘s Forestry Project in the United States! This would help rebuild the Gulf Coast region that was ruined by Hurricane Katrina.

Parent’s Tip: A good alternative is to buy a balled Christmas tree, if it‘s available in your area. These trees can be replanted once you are through with the holidays.
